Captive Agents Offering Modified Plans

It is very important you do not buy final expense from a captive agent. Why? Because captive agents only have one product from one company to offer you. This means that if you have a health condition which their company doesn’t like, they may offer you insurance on a modified basis, meaning you must wait two years to be fully covered. You make payments for two years, but if you die from illness or natural causes during that time, your family does not get any coverage.

Now this modified product is a good thing if it’s the best you can get. But is it the best you can get? With a captive agent, working for one company, they don’t even know if you can get better because they don’t know what the other 50 final expense companies offer!
In countless cases, people who buy final expense from a captive agent get put on a modified plan even though they could have got first day coverage from another company. The agent doesn’t tell the client, and the client doesn’t know any better.
But when you work with a Life Insurance Broker like me, I shop all the companies for you to find the best coverage at the cheapest rate. If there is a better deal out there, I’m able to find it and get you signed up. I don’t work for any one company and I am not obligated to any of them. I work for you.
To find the best company with the best rate, call me at 209-268-8063 for a no pressure, 10-minute consult and quote. I’ll help you apply and get approved.
